The Van Andel Research Institute is sponsoring a 2-day scientific workshop titled: Requirements for the Cure of Cancer, Formulating A Plan of Action. The workshop is being organized in conjunction with the Cure Cancer Project and Partnership for Cures. The aim is to bring together approximately 40 invited leaders from the scientific, medical, business, philanthropic, cancer advocacy communities and the NCI, to critically examine what is required to cure cancer and formulate a practical plan of action. The workshop will build upon
an editorial recently published on the Van Andel Research Institute’s website that proposed a major new approach to developing a cure for cancer and the formation of the Cure Cancer Project.
