The term solid metastatic cancers refers to metastatic cancers derived from the solid organs. This term includes most cancers (i.e. breast, lung, prostate, colon, pancreatic, melanoma, ovarian cancer...)

Leukemias and lymphomas or the "liquid tumors" are derived from the bone marrow cells and white blood cells. These are different from the solid cancers and will require different drugs to cure. The technology of PRTT can be used to develop curative treatments for leukemias and lymphomas. However, different patterns will need to be targeted.
