Choriocarcinoma is a rare type of
cancer that arises from cells in the uterus following
conception. It is also known as gestational trophoblastic
tumor or molar pregnancy. This aggressive type of cancer
was fatal prior to the development of a cure by Dr. Li and
Dr. Hertz.
